Weekly lithium ore market trends from June 30 to July 3 [SMM Weekly Review]

This week, lithium ore prices showed a significant increase WoW, mainly due to the slight recovery in lithium carbonate prices. On the supply side, overseas mines continued to refuse to budge on prices, and suppliers took advantage of the current upward trend in lithium carbonate prices to raise prices, leading to an overall increase in market quotes. On the demand side, the current lithium chemical prices provided hedging opportunities for traders and lithium chemical plants, raising their psychological acceptance levels and causing the lower end of market prices to rebound. With the current upward trend in lithium chemical and lithium ore prices, the willingness to inquire and close deals on the demand side is slightly better than before. It is expected that lithium ore prices will be more likely to rise than fall in the short term.
